The Client​

This client is one of the UK’s most trusted independent specialists in Mass Spectrometry. They offer a wide range of services, including parts, servicing, training and support. Quality and customer satisfaction are two of their main aims and they are currently certified to ISO9001:2015 accreditation standard.

The Requirement​

The client engaged with Network Scientific to utilise both our lead generation services as well as our internet marketing services. They wanted to promote their LCMS servicing within the UK and ultimately increase their market share. Their services are extremely pertinent within the pharmaceutical and environmental industries, especially around quality and compliance.

The primary purpose of the campaign was to secure qualified leads to feed into the client’s sales pipeline in addition to raising brand awareness in the target markets. For the telephone-based lead generation side of the project, the client wanted us to generate as many interested prospect clients as possible.

For the internet marketing, the client required us to manage their website, creating and uploading relevant content to their blog as well as handling their social media accounts, including all the updates and content posted.

Key campaign requirements:

  • Prospect Database Creation – specifically focussed on the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, clinical and environmental markets
  • Telemarketing – To generate sales leads and those individuals who wanted further contact from the client
  • Appointment Setting – So that the client could further demonstrate the benefits of their services
  • Social Media Management – To increase brand awareness and to promote their products and services
  • SEO and Website Management – To keep the website up to date and ranking higher for relevant key words, therefore increasing awareness of their services within their target industries.

The Delivery​

For the lead generation, we worked with the client to compile an extensive prospect list of appropriate companies and contact details of relevant decision makers. These individuals were then contacted by phone on behalf of the client to make the initial company introduction. For those contacts where we were unable to make contact via phone, we sent an email from the client’s domain as if we were employees of the business, to introduce the products.

For the internet marketing, we spent some time compiling suggested activities that we could perform to increase their brand awareness online. This included example social media posts, suggested blog post titles and relevant hashtags. During this project, we were also asked to spend some time creating an infographic for the clients’ quarterly response times so that it could be shared on both their website and across their social media channels.

All conversations and email correspondence as well as the internet marketing metrics were recorded and presented back in weekly reports.

The overall outcome of the initial campaign was exceedingly positive, and the client was extremely happy with the results. The vast awareness of the clients offering and the sectors they wanted to sell into, was essential in influencing the success of this sales and marketing campaign.
